ETA offers Yoga to our athletes to improve flexibility and strength and promote relaxation and mental calmness.
Flexibility and Yoga
With a strong emphasis on flexibility, a crucial component of an athlete's conditioning program, yoga increases a player's reach on court, enhances joint mobility, creates a greater range of motion, and helps with injury prevention.
Strength and Yoga
Yoga also helps to strengthen the athlete's body and it releases tension in injury prone joints.
Relaxation and Mental Calmness
With regular practice, yoga's breathing techniques promote relaxation and increase lung capacity. It improves concentration and focus by quieting the mind and body.
